About the Role

we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of industrial pumps, fluid control equipment, vacuum systems, and related process equipment.

Our products are designed to support demanding industrial applications where reliability, precision, efficiency, and long-term operating performance are essential. We aim to develop practical engineering solutions that help customers improve production efficiency, maintain stable operations, and meet their specific process requirements.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will participate in the complete product development process, from initial concept design and engineering calculations to detailed drawings, prototype testing, manufacturing support, and continuous product improvement. You will work closely with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and technical service to ensure that our products meet performance requirements and can be manufactured efficiently.

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving practical mechanical challenges, developing industrial equipment, and turning engineering concepts into reliable products used in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and complete equipment systems for industrial applications.

• Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials using professional CAD software.

• Perform mechanical engineering calculations related to strength, pressure, temperature, vibration, shaft loading, sealing, and rotating components.

• Support the design of pump housings, shafts, impellers, rotors, bearings, mechanical seals, couplings, mounting structures, and related components, as applicable to the product range.

• Select appropriate materials according to operating conditions, corrosion resistance, chemical compatibility, temperature, pressure, and durability requirements.

• Review engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, surface finishes, machining requirements, and assembly procedures.

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and suppliers to ensure that designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for production.

• Participate in prototype development, product testing, design verification, and performance evaluation.

• Investigate mechanical failures, quality issues, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.

• Support root-cause analysis and develop corrective engineering solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation, design reports, engineering specifications, and product development records.

• Coordinate engineering changes and ensure that updated drawings and technical documents are properly maintained.

• Work with application engineers to understand customer requirements and translate them into appropriate product designs.

• Support continuous improvement projects focused on product reliability, manufacturing efficiency, serviceability, and lifecycle cost.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience in mechanical design, industrial machinery, pumps, compressors, fluid control equipment, rotating equipment, or process systems.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or an equivalent platform.

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of materials, machining, casting, welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

 

Preferred Experience

Experience with industrial pumps, vacuum equipment, valves, fluid control systems, mechanical seals, rotating machinery, or other process equipment will be an advantage. Familiarity with finite element analysis, product validation, quality management systems, and international engineering standards is also desirable.
